Dry Back LVT vs. Click-Lock LVT
● Stability: Glue-down offers better stability in large, high-traffic, or sunny rooms.
● Repair: If a plank is damaged, a dry back plank can be easily removed and replaced without disturbing the whole floor.
● Thickness: Generally, dry back LVT is thinner and more flexible than rigid core (click-lock) options.

LVT Dry Back Flooring (Dry Back Luxury Vinyl Tiles) has a clearly defined physical structure, with each layer serving a specific function. Similar to click-lock LVT in its core layer, it lacks a click-lock system and has a different bottom layer design.
Structural Details
1. Wear Layer
Thickness: Commercial grade is typically 0.3mm - 0.7mm; high-end commercial or heavy-duty commercial grades can exceed 1.0mm.
2. Decorative Layer
Function: Realistically mimics the textures of wood, stone, concrete, etc., using high-definition photography and printing technology.
The pattern usually runs the entire length of the tile, ensuring the texture remains continuous and aesthetically pleasing even after cutting.
3. Core Layer
This is the "skeleton" of the LVT. The core layer of dry-back LVT is as rigid as click-lock LVT, but its shape is a flat rectangle without a click mechanism.
Thickness: Typically 3mm - 8mm. A thicker core layer provides a better feel underfoot, but the overall thickness of dry-back LVT is usually slightly thinner than click-lock LVT.
4. Fiberglass Layer
Function: Provides bidirectional stability, preventing warping or deformation of the tiles in both length and width directions.
Enhancing the overall structural strength and dimensional stability of the product is one of the hallmarks of high-quality dry-back LVT.
5. Dry-Back Substrate
Core Functions:
Optimized Adhesion: Its textured design acts like a "suction cup," allowing applied liquid adhesive to penetrate and hold better, forming a strong bond and preventing delamination.
Stress Balancing: Provides slight flexibility to help compensate for minor unevenness in the substrate.
Enhanced Sound Insulation: Provides a degree of cushioning and sound insulation
